Supporting Information Sharing for Re-Use and Analysis of Scientific Research Publication Data

Effective and efficient information sharing for reuse and analysis of scientific data from published research papers is an important challenge for researchers working within the empirical software engineering (EMSE) domain. Currently, there is only limited support for storing empirical research data and results in a way that is easy to access and reuse for other researchers. In this paper, we propose the Systematic Knowledge Engineering Tool (SKET), an ontology-based tool to provide researchers in the EMSE domain with capabilities for storing, sharing, and verifying results within their research community.
